City Year Philadelphia’s Red Jacket Gala provides critical funds to advance our work, supporting �鶹���� and our communities in ways they need, and deserve.

The Red Jacket Gala is an annual event that brings together City Year champions for an engaging evening of inspiration. Join us as we celebrate Philadelphia’s �鶹���� and the work of City Year Student Success Coaches who dedicate one year of their lives to serve alongside teachers in our city’s under-resourced schools.  We’ll honor our Idealist of the Year, former Governor Ed Rendell, a man who helped bring City Year to Philadelphia alongside David Cohen, former Senior Executive Vice President at Comcast and former United States Ambassador to Canada. David Cohen has agreed to chair the event committee in support of Governor Rendell. We’ll also honor a student from one of our partner schools as our Young Idealist of the Year.

This unique event is an immersive and engaging experience that will allow attendees to network with other local education champions and hear first-hand accounts of service from City Year Philadelphia Student Success Coaches.
