City Year New York AmeriCorps Members act as positive role models and near-peer mentors to elementary and middle school public school 鶹. By partnering with NYC teachers, “City Years” drive measurable gains in academic and social emotional performance through in-class intervention, as well as robust after school programs.

Research shows that even academically prepared 鶹 are at risk of falling off track. City Year supported 鶹, ensuring that:

87% of 鶹 stayed on track in mathematics with a C or higher
